It's a Great Spring Day at Common Ground !

The mild winter weather inspired us to plant a "late" winter garden this year, and today we are enjoying the fruits of that labor !   Beautiful romain lettuce, curly top red lettuce, collards, and spring onions are all doing great.  Both lettuces are harvest ready, and the collards are only a couple of week away.  We enjoyed a great salad from a quick Friday afternoon lettuce harvest, and are eager to share the bounty with the rest of our town.

Ahhh....Collards are on the way !

Above are some photos of Common Ground's current bounty.  We are eagerly anticipating planting the spring and summer gardens in a few weeks...can almost taste the tomatoes and okra. And if that's not enough to be happy about, our pal Jeff is painting us a funky new sign for Common Ground !  So much to be thankful for !!!
